ShuttleRank tracks badminton doubles sessions. Below are the things people ask most. If your question is not here, ask in your play group chat.
How do I start a session?
Sessions tab, then + New Session. Pick a venue and a date. A session is one visit to the court - everything you play that day gets grouped under it.
How do I invite people?
Open the session and share the join link. Anyone who taps it can add themselves - they do not need an account first. Paste it in your group chat and you are done.
How do I record a match?
Open the session and hit Play. Pick the four players, tap the winning pair, save. That is the whole loop - it is built to be done courtside between games.
What is SRR?
ShuttleRank Rating - a single number summarising how you are playing. Beat stronger opponents and it climbs faster; lose to weaker ones and it drops further. It updates after every recorded match, so it reflects current form rather than lifetime totals.
Why did my rating move after someone else's match?
It does not. Your SRR only changes from matches you played in. What can change is your leaderboard position, because everyone else is still playing.
Can I fix a match I entered wrong?
Yes. Open the session, find the match, and delete it. Ratings for everyone involved are recalculated automatically - no manual cleanup needed.
Who is my nemesis and best partner?
Your Profile works them out from match history. Nemesis is the opponent you lose to most; best partner is who you win most alongside. Both need a handful of matches before they mean anything.
How do I share my stats?
Profile, then the share icon top-right. It generates a card built for WhatsApp.
Someone else recorded matches under my name
That usually means there are two player entries for you. Get in touch and they can be merged so your history stays in one place.
