Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive and store:

• Your Google account ID
• Your email address
• Your display name
• Your profile picture URL

We never see or store your Google password. Sign-in is handled entirely by Google.

What you create

Everything you record in the app: sessions, matches, scores, the players you played with and against, venues, tournaments, and the ratings derived from all of it.

Why we store it

Solely to make the app work. Your matches produce your leaderboard position, your rating, and your stats. Without storing them there is no app. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not analyse your data for any purpose beyond showing it back to you and your play group.

Who can see your data

Your name, results, rating and stats are visible to other ShuttleRank users - that is the point of a shared leaderboard. Your email address is not shown to other users.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not pass it to third parties for their own purposes.

Services we rely on

Like any app, ShuttleRank runs on infrastructure provided by others. We use a sign-in provider (Google), a hosting provider, and a database provider. They process data on our behalf and only to keep the app running - they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Cookies

One cookie, holding your sign-in session so you are not asked to log in on every visit. It expires after 30 days. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for your account and history to be deleted. Email prasanthys47@gmail.com. There is no self-service delete button yet, so requests are handled manually - expect a few days rather than instantly.

Note that matches you played in also form part of other players' records. Deleting your account removes your profile; results involving other players may be retained in anonymised form so their history stays accurate.

Children

ShuttleRank is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top will change. Since this is a small app, we will not email you about it - please check back occasionally.
